Apartment 11 Productions Nominated for 5 Youth Media Alliance Awards of Excellence

news-003Apartment 11 Productions has been nominated for five Youth Media Alliance Awards of Excellence.

In Real Life (YTV) was nominated in the “Best Television Program, All Genres, Teen” category. Finding Stuff Out (TVO) was nominated in the “Best Television Program, All Genres, 6-8” category and Cross Country Fun Hunt (CBC) was nominated for “Best Television Program, All Genres, Ages 9-12”.

Additionally, both Finding Stuff Out and Cross Country Fun Hunt were nominated in the “Best Convergent Website” category.

The 2013 English-language Awards of Excellence Gala will be held in Toronto on Tuesday, May 28, at the CBC’s Glenn-Gould Studio. Over the years, the gala has come to be a true celebration of the talent and creativity of Canada’s English-speaking youth television and digital content professionals.

For more than 38 years, Youth Media Alliance has been recognizing the importance of quality television and interactive contents for Canadian kids. At its annual Awards of Excellence gala, YMA celebrates the outstanding achievements that have made Canada a world leader in the production and delivery of screen-based contents for young viewers.
