Apartment 11 Productions is pleased to announce that IN REAL LIFE has been nominated for an International Emmy Kids Award for Best Non-Scripted Entertainment. The announcement was made by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Awards and included 24 nominees from 13 countries in 6 categories.

IN REAL LIFE is an exciting reality series where18 kid contestants – aged 12-14 – race across North America and compete in a series of thrilling real-life tasks, and discover the skills, strength, and stamina it takes to make it in the real world!

The International Emmy Kids Awards, is a new competition and stand-alone ceremony, solely dedicated to recognizing excellence in children’s television programming produced and initially aired outside of the United States.

The Emmy’s will be handed out at the inaugural International Emmy Kids Awards, on February 8, 2012 in New York City.
