Montreal, Quebec (November 12th, 2025) – The Unstoppable Jenny Garcia has been nominated for a Kidscreen Award for Best New Series – Tweens/Teens.   The Kidscreen Awards is a high-profile celebration of children’s content excellence paying tribute to outstanding TV and digital media work that keeps kids and families entertained worldwide.  Winners will be announced at the Kidscreen Summit on February 24th.

The Unstoppable Jenny Garcia tells the story of teen Jenny Garcia who dares to dream big despite being diagnosed with cancer.  Life for Jenny is cruising along. With her dance crew of friends, including her first crush, chosen to open for a famous hip hop artist, Jenny sees high school on the horizon and her childhood in the rearview mirror. Until cancer causes her to slam on the brakes.  A new road is laid out, but where on it is there room for friends, fun, and dance? Finding that new “real life” is what this story is all about.
