BIG TOP ACADEMY NOW STREAMING ON HULU and POP in the UK

About the Show

Children’s Live-Action Scripted Series
5-9 year-olds
52 x 30’ episodes

Set in a circus arts boarding school, “BIG TOP ACADEMY” tells the story of an extraordinary group of young acrobats who dream of becoming professional circus artists. It’s the first ever live-action series that brings Cirque du Soleil’s exciting and colourful circus universe to kids.

As the students at Big Top Academy strive towards personal excellence, they learn teamwork and to push past limits. Fast-paced and high-energy, the series tells the story of a diverse group of students – Nicholas, Maxwell, April, Phoenix, Chase, Ella, Celeste, Axel, and Rosa – who hail from different walks of life and have a variety of skills: some are already circus artists, others come from ballet and gymnastics, while a few have no formal training at all.  Heading up the school is the fair-minded headmaster, Miss G, along with stern athletic director Sir Rayne and the eccentric Ms. Martel.

Thrilled to be part of the legendary school’s future, the kids soon discover that BTA has a mysterious past – a secret room, a secret book of circus secrets, and an underground society.

At Big Top Academy, friendships are enhanced, stakes are high, risks are real, rivalries are intense and the obstacles as big as the big top in every kid’s circus dreams.
