Apartment 11 series The Unstoppable Jenny Garcia and Green Squad nominated for Canadian Screen Awards
The Unstoppable Jenny Garcia receives seven nominations, and one for Green Squad.
Montreal, Quebec (March 25th, 2026) – The Unstoppable Jenny Garcia has been nominated for 7 Canadian Screen Awards in the Best Children’s or Youth Categories for: Best Series, Best Writing (Catherine Hernandez), Best Lead Performer (Ava Louise Murchison and Byron Abalos), and Best Supporting Performer (Lana Carillo, Josette Jorge and Haven Markus). The Unstoppable Jenny Garcia tells the story of teen Jenny Garcia who dares to dream big despite being diagnosed with cancer.
Green Squad received its nomination for Best Children’s or Youth Non-Fiction Program or Series. This fun and educational series follows a team of passionate and environmentally savvy young hosts who challenge kids and their families to make eco-friendly lifestyle changes for a healthier planet.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony in Toronto on Thursday, May 28th.
