Dana MacKimmie has been the organizational engine behind some of Canada’s most creative kids’ and family productions at Apartment 11 for nearly two decades. As Production Manager, Line Producer, (and sometimes Head of Production), she transforms big ideas into fully realized shows—building budgets, crafting schedules, assembling teams, and keeping everything on track. Since first jumping on board in 2006 with Mystery Hunters, Dana has steered over a dozen Apartment 11 projects, including most recently Interstellar Ella, Green Squad, Sunny’s Quest, and La quête de Lumie.

Along the way, Dana has also lent her talents to Montreal companies like Zone 3, GalaFilm, Intuitive Pictures, and Whalley-Abbey Media—but always finds her way back to Apartment 11. She’s the multitasking, problem-solving calm behind the chaos, who thrives on the challenge of bringing ambitious productions to life and making sure the magic actually happens!
